We brought our own conceptual plan, and Justin and Ray’s expertise helped identify potential challenges on our steep site, offering cost-saving solutions. The communication with every team member, including external contractors, was professional and a pleasure. The Project Manager was proactive in managing supply delays, ensuring materials were available on time. The build was completed on schedule, within budget, and to an exceptional standard. Justin and Ray transformed our initial concept into a remarkable solution perfectly tailored to our holiday home and lifestyle aspirations. What started as a modest two-bedroom idea blossomed into a spacious three-bedroom haven, with a generous butler's pantry, an extended garage, and thoughtful design elements like a striking timber screen and custom-built fireplace. Every detail, from the over height sloped ceiling to the feature lighting, was carefully considered, creating an ambiance that truly reflects our style. We are rapt with our dream holiday home, and all thanks to the expertise and craftsmanship of Justin and his team, who exceeded our expectations.

We couldn't believe how closely the first design matched what we thought was a very vague brief—Justin is clearly well versed in asking the right questions to understand how we saw ourselves using the house, what style appealed to us, and was able to translate it into a design that we not only loved, but that also took into account our budget. Justin was very patient with all of our questions, and we appreciated his balanced responses that helped us make decisions considering both cost and design/look & feel. We were able to make tweaks as the design started to come to life, such as adding skylights above the kitchen, which we’re really pleased with. The overall experience was genuinely exciting rather than stressful, and we are beyond stoked and completely in love with our new home.

We had been coming to Whangamatā for years with our two tiny baches, but time and a flood made them no longer viable. We set out to design a future home that would accommodate our growing family while retaining the bach feel, with some quirky ideas we wanted to include. Justin spent many hours refining our plans before the build, ensuring a seamless process. Sam and I reached out to several building companies for our first home, but most showed little interest and weren't willing to put in the effort. When we contacted Justin, he immediately set up a meeting and, despite our tight budget, was eager to help make our dream home a reality. We slightly extended our budget, and in return, we got a dream home we didn’t think was possible for a first build. The final cost was exactly what was quoted—no hidden fees!
